In the 2024 financial year, which ended on 30 November, fans paid $7.2B through the platform according to the accounts. In 2021 it was $4.8B, an increase of 50% in three years.
These are payments net of sales taxes and refunds. The accounts report them rounded to the nearest hundred million dollars, so the year on year changes in the table are approximate too.
| Financial year | Fan payments | |
|---|---|---|
| FY 2021 | $4.8B≈ | |
| FY 2022 | $5.6B≈ | +17% vs previous year |
| FY 2023 | $6.6B≈ | +18% vs previous year |

How much does OnlyFans itself earn?
Group revenue in 2024 was $1.41B and profit before tax was $684M. According to the notes, the group employed 46 people on average over the year, directors included.
Set revenue against fan payments and 19.6% stays with the platform, which matches the 20 percent OnlyFans says it keeps. That ratio is our calculation from two figures in the accounts, not a number the accounts state.
| Financial year | Group revenue | Profit before tax | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FY 2021 | $932M≈ | $433M≈ | ||
| FY 2022 | $1.09B≈ | +17% vs previous year | $525M≈ | +21% vs previous year |

| FY 2024 | $1.41B | +8% vs previous year | $684M | +4% vs previous year |
How many creator and fan accounts are there?
At the end of the 2024 financial year OnlyFans counted 4.63M creator accounts and 377M fan accounts. In 2021 there were 2.16M creator accounts.
The count includes every account created and not deleted by the user or deactivated by the platform. It is not the number of creators who earned anything in a year. OnlyFans does not publish that number in its accounts.
| Financial year | Creator accounts | Fan accounts | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FY 2021 | 2.16M | 188M | ||
| FY 2022 | 3.18M | +47% vs previous year | 239M | +27% vs previous year |

| FY 2024 | 4.63M | +13% vs previous year | 377M | +24% vs previous year |
Which regions does the revenue come from?
The accounts split revenue into three regions. In 2024, 64.3% came from the USA, 20.1% from the UK and Europe combined and the rest from the rest of the world.
There are no figures for single countries such as the UK, Germany or Spain. Anyone quoting one did not get it from this source.
| FY 2023 | FY 2024 | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| USA | $863M | 66.1% Share | $909M | 64.3% Share |
| UK and Europe | $229M | 17.6% Share | $284M | 20.1% Share |
| Rest of world | $214M | 16.4% Share | $220M | 15.6% Share |
| Total | $1.31B | $1.41B | ||
How much revenue comes from subscriptions and how much from single purchases?
66.7% of revenue in the 2024 financial year did not come from subscriptions. According to the accounts, OnlyFans recognises that revenue at the moment a piece of media is purchased. A year earlier the share was 58.6%.
Subscription revenue fell over the same period while revenue from single purchases grew. Anyone thinking only about the subscription price is looking at the smaller part of the money moving through the platform.
| FY 2023 | FY 2024 | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | $541M | 41.4% Share | $470M | 33.3% Share |
| Outside subscriptions | $766M | 58.6% Share | $943M | 66.7% Share |
| Total | $1.31B | $1.41B | ||
Which figures could we not verify?
These claims circulate in articles, videos and agency pitch decks. They are not in the accounts, so we give no number for them here.
- The average income of a creator on OnlyFans
- The accounts count accounts that were not deleted, not how many of them actively earn. Dividing payments by accounts therefore gives no average that means anything.
- How much the top one or ten percent of creators earn
- None of the three filings contains a distribution of earnings across creators.
- Revenue or number of creators in a single country
- Revenue is split into three regions only, and accounts are not split by country at all.
- How many creators work with an agency
- The accounts say nothing about it, and we have no other reliable source.
- What percentage agencies usually take
- We know of no body that collects agency contracts. The only terms we can document are our own.
- Monthly active fans
- The accounts report fan accounts created, not active users.
- Figures for the 2025 financial year
- Those accounts had not been filed at the company register on the day we checked.
Where do these figures come from?
OnlyFans is operated by Fenix International Limited, a company registered in London. UK companies file their audited annual accounts at Companies House, the company register, where anyone can read them for free.
We opened the three most recent filings and noted every figure used here with its page. Shares and year on year changes are our own calculations from those figures and do not appear in the accounts in that form.
